🇬🇧 HUGS - Helping Unite Generations to Support New Mothers (ID: 2023-2-IT02-KA210-ADU-000184727) is a Small-scale Partnership in Adult Education approved under the Erasmus+ Programme, Call KA210 2023.
The objective of HUGS is to share knowledge, experience, and best practices to define and train a voluntary support figure who will assist new families and mothers, with particular attention to migrant women.
The event highlights the growing importance of voluntary support for new families, especially as family structures evolve and external challenges increase. Factors such as geographical distance, work-life balance, and economic or health issues are reducing the support available to new parents and their children, making solidarity and cooperation more crucial than ever. At the same time, the role of the Erasmus+ Programme in Adult Education, particularly in fostering competence development and social inclusion, will be emphasized.
