🇬🇧 This workshop explores the European project CULT - Citizens' Dialogue and Exchange on Cultural Heritage and Media Arts as Tools for Strengthening EU Identity, a CERV-TOWN TWINNING initiative between Modena (Italy) and Karlsruhe (Germany), two UNESCO Creative Cities of Media Arts. Through a series of study visits, both cities have facilitated meaningful exchanges among cultural institutions, citizens, artists, and creative industries, boosting connections between cultural operators and mutual understanding of the potential of media arts to enhance the existing cultural heritage and nurture new artistic productions. The workshop aims to design a replicable study visit model, providing other cities with a framework for engaging their creative communities. Participants will discuss best practices, share insights, and collaboratively develop strategies to facilitate cross-city cultural exchanges that promote innovation and foster collaboration. The goal is to equip cities with tools to build sustainable partnerships and cultural dialogues.
