🇬🇧 CLI-MIC is a project cofinanced by the Erasmus+ Programme (ID: 2022-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000086856) that promotes climate action through the use of comics as an innovative educational tool in secondary schools. Within a STEAM framework, the project aims to merge science and creativity, encouraging students to reflect on their role as changemakers and build their critical thinking, agency and ecological awareness. The workshop will combine a short theoretical introduction to CLI-MIC’s pedagogical foundations with interactive activities inspired by its teaching materials, offering participants a hands-on taste of how comics can be used to engage learners in climate education. The goal is to move from knowledge to action, making climate education emotionally resonant and socially impactful. In fact, at Area Europa, we are committed to supporting European educators in adopting non-formal methods that make sustainability education more dynamic, inclusive, and action-oriented.
