🇬🇧 The miscellany Europe and Peace. The War in Ukraine and the Difficult Relationship between Europeanism and Pacifism (Mimesis, 2024) is presented. The volume gathers many of the contributions from the Study Day held on May 10, 2023, in Ferrara, which brought together participants from academia, civil society organizations, and schools, featuring experts in the legal, economic, and human sciences fields. Among other topics, the discussion will delve into the issue of the international responsibility of the EU and European states concerning the violation of international norms governing the conduct of hostilities, in the context of the recent conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza.
